Hybrid heating system engine room

Construction of an automation system for controlling a hybrid heating system consisting of low temperature Hydrobox and an oil boiler as an auxiliary heating source.

The Hydrobox is interconnected to a Heat Recovery VRF system, which the indoor units use to cool the premises.

Tasks set by the client in the project:

Management of:

  • Indoor VRF air conditioners via KNX protocol.
  • Hydrobox VRF indoor unit via KNX protocol.
  • Oil boiler via Loxone MiniServer.
  • Solar water kit for Domestic Hot Water via Loxone MiniServer.
  • Open pool heating via Loxone MiniServer.
  • Pump station via Loxone MiniServer.
  • Visualisation through Loxone MiniServer.
